About the mouthpiece: the 09 mouthpiece is a more comfortable Myler version of the traditional single-jointed mouthpiece. Although it lacks the benets of a true Myler mouthpiece, it has the distinctive curve so the bars of the bit wrthe horses bar and lips instead of pinching. The curve also creates more spfor the horses tongue under the bit. The 09 does not oer the Independent Side Movement of a true Myler mouthpiece. The 07 is the 09 mouthpiece with a twist. The 07I is the 09 twist in sweet iron.
