This is for 1 gallon of Food Grade Silicone Rubber. You will receive both "A" and "B" sides for a total of 1 gallon or 9.0 lbs. Cast-A-Mold Platinum is a platinum (addition) cured silicone rubber used for a variety of applications. It exhibits an easy 1:1 mix ratio, low viscosity, excellent tear strength, tensile strength, elongation, heat deflection, and long library life. Cast-a-Mold Platinum can be used to make translucent rubber molds for casting candies,cakes, polyurethanes, epoxy's, polyester's, cement, concrete, soap, wax, plaster, etc.. Addition cured silicone rubber may be inhibited by certain contaminants resulting in tackiness on the surface of the mold. Latex, sulfur based clays, tin cured silicone rubber, amines, nitriles, should be avoided. If you are unsure of the compatibility a small test is recommended. To prevent inhibition it can be helpful to coat the pattern with a clear acrylic lacquer.Always Fresh!
